National Museum of Singapore

The National Museum of Singapore is the biggest and most seasoned historical center in Singapore going back to 1849. Concentrated on the history and society of Singapore, the historical center drenches the guest in a multi-tangible experience of Singapore's past, improving with intelligent components, including touch screen presentations, noticing units and oral histories. There are changeless shows at the 5 exhibitions and unique or makeshift show & exhibitions, which change intermittently.

Outlined in Neo-Palladian and Renaissance style, the exhibition hall has gone through a progression of changes, uniting the old and the new on one single site. Presently, it is conceivable to see the Glass Passage, rising 11 meters (four stories) off the floor, which permits guests strolling through the hall an unmistakable perspective of the exquisite Palladian themes and the Rotunda Dome, the most conspicuous highlight of the building with 50 bits of Victorian stain glass design, which in the past could just be seen from crosswise over Stamford Road.

Another unimaginable highlight is the Glass Rotunda, composed as a current understanding of the old Rotunda Dome; it is a tube shaped formed building, which is comprised of two drums, with the external one made of glass, which sheathes an inward one made of wire cross section. It remains at 16 meters high and 24 meters in measurement and serves as the fundamental entrance into the Singapore History Gallery.
Amid the day, 360 degrees of anticipated pictures would encompass guests when they are inside the inside of the littler drum. During the evening, the Glass Rotunda will change into a lamp, with pictures showing up on the "skin" of the internal drum, obvious on the outside façade, lighting up the city sky facing window.
